Yesterday was a terrible day, during which I remained glued to the news from around 12:30pm until about 7pm. It was not really unexpected, but it was sudden.

I am not an avid royalist, but I am a monarchist. She was our queen, a mother, a grandmother, and she had my respect.

Thank you for your service, ma’am.
