The first week of July will be a combination of getting settled into both a new house and a new routine and waiting for the dust to settle as well. I’ve booked client work in from the second week of July, but I also want to crack on with those republications. I reckon that by August, I’ll be writing again.
I don’t think we’ll have many tradesmen stomping everywhere yet. We have a window fitter and a decorator already booked in for August, but July will be us doing what we can ourselves, and maybe getting some internal doors replaced.
We need to go and buy an oven and a fridge/freezer and we have to have the oven fitted. We also have curtain rails to replace with curtain poles as we go along, and curtains we’ve brought with us replaced with new curtains and blinds.
So, we still have things to do in July on the home front, but here’s how the work side of things is starting to pan out…
