Well, by the end of the week, I’d done a load of Pomodoros and got a lot of work done. Very productive indeed. I did start to wilt around mid-afternoon on Friday, though. The morning began once again over breakfast with me reading the latest book for NetGalley.  I’m really enjoying this Christmas story and looking forward to starting the next. I’m getting used to the electronic diary, but it’s taking time. I keep wanting to look at something in my physical diary and then remembering that it’s on my phone or on the desktop. I finished the quick editing job yesterday morning and sent it back explaining that while I’m quite busy for the next few weeks I can still fit in a few quick, short jobs. The news that yet another short story magazine has closed its doors to all but a privileged few has knocked me sideways somewhat this past week. It’s not a market I’ve had a lot of success with, but it’s a good market to target anyway and at least the result is a completed short story at the end of it. I had such plans, though.
