It’s publication day today for my SHORT STORY Elvis is Missing, Wordsworth Short #39.
I first wrote Elvis is Missing as an assignment for a WMG workshop. We were asked to set a story in the Vegas hotel where the in-person workshop was taking place. The course leader said my story was a lot of fun and that encouraged me to continue with it.
Elvis’s next outing was 12 stories in 12 months, when I rewrote it to suit the prompt we were given, ‘levels’. And he had a good reaction then too. So I decided to keep him.
The story was rewritten again, aka polished, so that it could be published in Words Worth Reading: Issue 3. And now here he is again in his own right.
He’s had a few different covers since then, too. I hope he likes this one.
You can buy Elvis is Missing here.

Congratulations! Looks like a lot of fun.
Thank you!
