As November began, I was scheduled to start 8 weeks of light therapy treatment at the dermatology department, 3 times a week, towards the end of the month. With the arrival of 2 new dogs, I had to rethink that time out of the office as I wouldn’t be able to leave them on their own when the treatment started, and I certainly couldn’t take them with me.
I also had a biopsy booked, for the same complaint. But when the time came for that, I didn’t have a fresh enough lesion for them to take a sample from. So I cancelled that one, but moved the light therapy treatment on a couple of weeks. That light therapy now starts in December and continues on into the new year, with just Boxing Day off.
A physiotherapy appointment came in at the same time, but I was able to keep that one. And then an unexpected mammogram appointment landed. So aside from the 2 new dogs, November was also a lot about my health.
I managed to get a short newsletter out, and lost 1 subscriber in the process, I finally finished the tough client edit, but I didn’t start Project Management for Writers: Gate 3 as I had to bring forward a client edit I’d originally scheduled in for later.
Some jobs fell by the wayside, as a result. Others were postponed. But I still managed a few things here and there, in between jumping from crisis to catastrophe to peace-and-breathe.
November wrap-up!
