Monday 3 November 2025: Hello November!

I’m supposed to be starting my light therapy treatment at the dermatology department in Rotherham in November, but I’m still seeing how the collagen supplements are currently going. If my skin seems to be clearing up, I’ll cancel. If it doesn’t, I won’t. Either way, I have to let them know.

This isn’t such a big problem any more now that I’m concentrating on fewer jobs at a time. If I do cancel, I could replace some of the sessions with short story work and submissions, or I could just stretch out an existing job per each day.

At the moment, I’m banking on attending. So with that in mind…

Hello, November!

Here’s the current plan for November:

  • create graphic for Hello November
  • create graphic for November wrap-up
  • newsletter
  • (week) daily blog post
  • client edit x2
  • write Story 11 for 12 STORIES IN 12 MONTHS
  • share Diane’s gig list every Thursday
  • weekly diary work
  • weekly backup
  • weekly finance work
  • weekly publishing work
  • hair appointment
  • physiotherapy appointment
  • roofing contractor
  • begin light treatment therapy (dermatology)
  • start Project Management for Writers: Gate 3 (again)
  • monthly schedule planning for December
  • advance finances for December
  • update 36-project spreadsheet (week) daily

What does your November look like at the moment?

  1. I’m trying to keep it quiet and simple for November. Head down writing, not too much being out and about. With Mercury going retrograde from the 9th to the 29th, things are bound to get mucky around American Thanksgiving, and I just want to be out of the fray.

  2. my November has started well, I started sorting and finishing items on October 27th, one item started last year! Then today 6th November, I finished gift bag #20, an updates on Instagram 🙂 that’s as well as finishing an apron. Fabrics are starting to clutter on the settee and hubby not too pleased so hence all the finishes. I think gift bags might be the way forward, I think I’ve made just about everything else over the years.

The dogs sound a handful and good luck with the roof, have you had just one roofer look at it, I would suggest getting another opinion, having been ripped off twice, spent £17k so far and both the upper roof and lower rubber roof has a ‘slight’ leak…

    1. Sorry to see you’ve been having roof woes. Our roof isn’t our responsibility, but the information is useful to know…

Sounds like your November started with a bang!
