The permanent arrival of a 4-year-old spaniel closely followed by a 10-week-old puppy took up a lot of planning and organisation time during October.
I cancelled the minor surgery because there wasn’t anything suitable for them to take a biopsy from. The housework half-hour and the garden half-hour were merged together into a house & garden hour, but I still didn’t keep on top of any of it. I was far too busy with other things.
And I didn’t manage 3 client edits either. One didn’t come in on time and the second took longer than I thought it would, and is still being finalised before I send it off.
I did, however, manage to get some stories out on submission that weren’t in the original schedule. The newsletter finally made a reappearance. And we had the garden overhauled again.
October wrap-up!

How was your October in the end?

It may not have gone to plan, but you got A LOT done. And what a delight to have dogs again, even though the settling-in phase takes a lot of time and energy.
Cheers to a great weekend and strong start for November.
Hear, hear! And backatchya!
