Friday 29 August 2025: August wrap-up!

So August flew by, didn’t it?

The new schedule seems to have worked. A lot. However, when we lost the internet, work was taking longer than it needed to and a couple of things were dropped in the last week or so.

We sacked the flylady. Twice. She was rubbish. But we have a new one starting on Monday. (!) And the daily competitions got binned because those are done online and I wasn’t wasting my hotspot time entering competitions.

I only finished the hard copy edit for one of the client jobs. I hadn’t even started the electronic copy edit for the other one when the author let me know he’d completely overhauled his book and would be sending me a new version. (I’m still waiting…) At the time of writing, I didn’t get around to the electronic edit on the the one I finished the hard copy edit for.

Par for the course, I didn’t manage to start the third project management book.
