I’m still deleting historical stuff from my writing page on Facebook and it’s still taking an eternity. Sometimes I’m just stepping away from it for a few hours while it has its little hissy fit. But usually I get into a bit of a rhythm and so long as I don’t go too fast it can keep up with me. I think it’s the going too fast that’s causing it to have a wobble.
I’m slowly deleting old emails from Yahoo too. If it’s just the email or if I don’t need the attachments, it’s a lot quicker. But if I need to download material from there as well, it’s taking a bit longer.
At some point in the near future, said she hopefully, the FB stuff will be gone and anything else can be decluttered during a daily session of between 5 and 20 minutes, or during a Pomodoro break.
I have finally got my Patreon act together, though, and today the first of my premium features goes live again. At the moment, that’s the short story for Fiction Friday and, also at the moment, some stories will be duplicated from before they were all deleted when I didn’t have any supporters. I deleted all of the old Fiction Friday short stories before I started to get the supporters.
Today, then, The Spirit of the Wind, aka Wordsworth Short #1, has gone live again and it’s available to supporters on the grass roots level 1 tier and above. It’s also available to purchase, either as a post or as an epub file. The Tier 1+ supporters will also be able to download the epub file if they want to.
While I was on there, I also updated the blurb for each of the tiers. I just wish there wasn’t a minimum fee on there that was out of my control, plus of course local taxes to pay. It’s much cheaper to buy the books via Books2Read.
Here’s the link to the story on Patreon, and here it is on Books2Read.
Storm Austen is currently battering the UK and we both thought we could hear thunder earlier, so I’m keeping this short and sweet. We have to take Alfie to the vet for his jabs in any case, so it’s an early finish for me today.
Whatever you’re up to, have a great weekend!
