I’m a bit late with the month ahead for April as I wasn’t sure what I’d be doing towards the end of the month. I was initially keeping everything a bit thin in case we were moving house, but as everything has gone quiet on that front for the timebeing, I decided to fill the time after all.
But then I wondered about giving myself a long to-do list at the start of every month. Yes, it does keep me on track, and yes, all the ticks are very motivating. But what about the crosses? Those can be a bit demoralising and you have to make sure you look at everything you have achieved for the month against anything you didn’t.
So I did wonder about being a bit kinder to myself. But once I’d settled on the jobs and tasks for the month, I thought I may as well give it another pop and see how it goes.
I’m still not doing any writing other than for assignments and I decided that for the next few months at least, between now and when we do move house, I ought to be feeding the octopus first. Because when we are moving, I may not have the time.
And when I say feeding the octopus, I mean my income octopus, my 8 streams of income.
So, after some thought, here’s how April is looking at the moment:
