A lazy day

Tuesday

I had a lovely long lie-in on Tuesday following my latest writing marathon. When the dog woke me up at 8am to go out, I’d already received a reply from the ghostwriting client along with payment approval and confirmation of the next instalment.

I’d given myself a bit of a faff day to recover, though, and once the dog had been out, I went back to bed. He woke me up again shouting (him, not me) at 10:30am and I finally got up at 11am.

It took me a couple of hours to get to my desk, but the first job I did when I got there was to transfer the deadline for ghostwriting gig #5 Part 3 to my diary.

Then I formatted and published Chapter 10 of Project Management for Writers: Gate 1 to Medium. The next thing I did was format a short story and then submit it to another publication on Medium.

While I was in the groove, I grabbed an older Wednesday writing prompts, rejigged it, removed some stuff and added some stuff, and then I submitted that to another publication on Medium.

I was a bit hungry then and went to make my dinner. By the time I got back to my desk, the short story had been published.

My next job was going to be this week’s Wednesday writing prompts, but a text from the poet, who was working away again, reminded me that I was supposed to be sending Chapter 11 of Project Management for Writers: Gate 1 to him for his contribution.

So I did that next instead. And then I called it a day. Wednesday writing prompts will be here tomorrow.
